Each of our bedrooms and suites are individually designed and named after Sussex Castles and early Bishops. Furnished with antiques and fine fabrics, they all have luxury spa bathrooms, and vary in size and outlook and are priced accordingly.

Terms and Conditions
Rates quoted are per room per night based on two people sharing. They are inclusive of accommodation, full English breakfast and VAT at current rate. Dinner, bed and breakfast rate includes dinner for two from our a la carte menu. There is a supplement of £20 per person for the Tasting menu. These rates are not applicable for Valentines, Glorious Goodwood Week, the Festival of Speed, the Goodwood Revival, Christmas or New Year.
All reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card and require a non-refundable deposit of 50% to secure the booking. Any cancellation should be by telephone to the Duty Manager and followed up in writing. If cancellation is within 21 days of arrival and we are unable to resell the room, full payment will be taken from the card on file. We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and Amberley Castle.
Points to note
Accommodation is available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival. If guests arrive before this time, they are welcome to relax in the lounges until their room is available. Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 11.00am but may use the hotel facilities subject to availability. The portcullis gate is closed at Midnight. Only in special circumstances do we accept arrivals after this time.
The hotel has a number of ground floor rooms in the Tower House Mews, but none are specifically adapted for disabled guests. Please advise on booking of any disability so we can assure a comfortable stay.
We welcome children over the age of 12. Regretfully, pets are not allowed in the Castle or grounds.
Amberley Castle has a dress code; smart/casual in the lounges. In the restaurant we ask gentlemen to wear a jacket or tie. Denim and trainers are not allowed. We draw your attention to the fact that Amberley Castle is a non-smoking hotel. Guests are requested not to use mobile phones in the restaurants.
